POVORA has returned to Royal Ascot, providing live HelmetCam coverage from one of the biggest meetings in world horse racing.

Our JockeyCam technology provides a unique rider’s-eye perspective, allowing audiences to experience the speed, movement and intensity of a race from the jockey’s point of view.

The images are being used live as part of the world-feed coverage during the five-day meeting, as well as appearing on screens around Ascot Racecourse.

Horse racing remains an important part of the POVORA story. Our original JockeyCam technology was first developed more than a decade ago and has continued to evolve alongside our newer camera systems.

The sport provides one of the most demanding environments in which to operate live wearable cameras, combining speed, RF challenges and the need to ensure equipment remains lightweight and unobtrusive for the jockey – while delivering broadcast-ready live images.

We are proud to continue bringing racing audiences closer to the action through live first-person pictures.
